It is a sad day in this household. Last night, my husbands ex-wife (and mother of my step daughter and son) was killed in a motorcyle accident. She and a friend had gone to Fort Collins (a couple of hours north of Denver) to a motorcycle club meeting. On the way back, they slowed up for some construction and the car behind her didn't, and slammed into her. He's also a possible drunk driver, tho haven't gotten confirmation on that yet. She was pronounced on the scene. Anne is pretty messed up as well as Tom. Please keep them in your prayers.

Oh, how terrible for all of you! And how horrible for it to be something that both you and your sister have had to go through with the surviving children of loving parents no longer in their everyday lives! I know that Anne and Travis are older than Monica was when she lost her dad in his accident, but no parent's death is easy to handle at any age, especially when too early through a shocking accident, even for adults. Please assure them both that they have many behind them who care as though we know them personally. They have our love and many prayers, as do you and Tom as well.
