I recieved this note from a friend about her husband just tonight. I would appreciate your help with prayers for them both.
Don was progressing & things were going exceptional but the leg continued to be red around 1 part of the incision which we have been watching.. Dr today did not like the look so Don is back in the hospital for IV antibiotics pray this will correct the problem & the incision will not have to be opened & “flushed” whatever that means?? He may be there 2/4 days.. Pray for me too since I am “stressed” with all that plus this remodel!!! Thanks Echo
(I don't know anything about her "remodel.")
Thank you, my friends.

Thank you my friends.
We just got back home tonight & I found another message that was sent on the 24th, about this problem.
He had more surgery today to open the incision & “flush” it out.. no sign of infection & no blood so not sure what is causing the problem his pain level was high tonight & his blood is low but they are working on all of that.. just appreciate the prayers & no need for you all to reply.. not sure when he will be home so I am gone all day & part of evening pray for that 30/45 min drive for me… Echo
I will be sure to update you when I hear more.

Just got an update on Don to pass along to you.
Don is home & we are able to go to Longmont United Hospital for IV antibiotics every day for 2 weeks.. the wound is looking better & the Dr’s think he may be on the up side now..thank you for all the prayers , cards & good thoughts!!! He is pale & puny & will have to have additional blood work to find out Why but that will all be later.. the remodel is a total mess but hopefully that will end too…I get up every morning & say “Lord help me through this day” & so far I have made it!!! Echo
I pray he continues to improve.

I recieved another update on Don today:
He finished the IV treatment today but Dr not real happy with the way the leg looks.. we need healing for that area,,, he will have x-rays this week to check on the bone healing but on crutches 6 more weeks.. he is getting around much better & not so restricted.. plus no more white hose!!!!! That is a celebration for me…We appreciate all of your concerns & cares… Echo

I finally heard from Echo again. I wrote to ask about Don & this is what she answered:
Thanks for your concern.. he is still on crutches maybe be free the 23rd.. I have been so busy with him plus the end days of the remodel that I neglect the e-mails.
She is obviously not spending much time on her 'puter, but it looks like he is on the mend. Thank you dear friends, for the prayers.

Thank you all for your prayers. I believe they were answered. I just recieved this note from Echo:
We just got home from a cruise to the South Pacific where we “parked” by Bali Hai. We were on a jazz cruise with Jazzdagen.. Don is Dancing again & doing well..
Isn't that great news? Praise God!
