This is a note I just recieved from a dear old friend. Kenny was in the Navy with Bob, way back. We have kept in touch over the years, though they live in NY. We have even visited them from time to time. As you will see from her letter, Marcia is a very faithful Christian lady, much like my friends on Sunshine Station. I do hope you will add your prayers to those of ours.
Kenny will have angioplasty and hopefully not open heart surgery on Monday, December 10th. Would those who talk to our Lord and Savior, please pray for our Lord's watchful eye upon him and for no open heart surgery. If he does need open heart, our Lord will help him to deal with it. He, God, is faithful to do just that.
Thank you, my friends.

She will certainly have my prayers. I do hope she has the comfort of the Lord's promise. And I pray she finds the Peace of the Christmas Season will cheer her. It's so sad to have such a loss at a time that is usually so joyful.

Thank you, dear friends. I'm afraid he will need even more. I recieved this note tonight:
I have an update on Kenny. After the angiogram this morning they discovered that he needs double by-pass surgery and will have the procedure done tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec 11th at 9:30am. Your prayers will continue to be appreciated. Thank You! Our Lord and Savior will watch over him, whatever His almighty will is.
God's continued blessings on each of you!
Thank you again for your prayers. You are good friends.

I pray that he will have the strength to get through the surgery and that God will heal him and bring him back to full health. Love you too! #hearthug#

On the 12th, Marcia wrote to say:
Thanks for your prayers. In the past Kenny has had 4 stents put in a few different times, so this isn't unusual for him to have continued problems.
When I told her I was putting him on this prayer page, she answered:
That's fine having others pray. The prayers of a righteous man are very effective! Praise God!
Today she said he is in a room & following orders & doing well. I will keep updating as I hear from her.
Thank you all again for your prayers & good thoughts.

A new & happier update on our friend, Kenny. Marcia wrote today:
Kenny has no more tubes in him but he does have a few scars. The doc was pleased that they could get one of the veins from behind his left leg since years ago he had vein surgery I believe in both legs.
God has truly watched over my dear husband. Now we ask our Lord to grant him complete healing and also for wisdom to follow the doctor's orders.
I picked Kenny up from the hospital in our hasty weather today, (They are in NY state) so now we are relaxing in our home. We thank and praise God for His goodness.
May you each dwell mainly on the birth of our Lord and Savior this blessed Christmas.
Thank you all, my friends, for helping in this happy ending with your prayers.
