I started watching As the World Turns in 1960. I've missed a lot over the years, but can always catch up. When The Bold & the Beautiful came on, it was right between the noon news and ATWT, so I got caught up in it, too.
I'm going to be away most of Feb., so going to miss a lot again. We're going to a couple of jazz festivals in Fresno & in Seaside, OR, & will have a visit with Twissi's sister & family, in Sacramento, too. Gettin' to see the grandkids is always fun!
Something is really weird about Sam's puppet. I think Parker is really on to something about Sam. I sure don't trust him. I may be wrong, though. You never know for sure.

I wonder how early in 1960, and if I might have suggested you watch it, too. I know I began watching it while at home right Annalisa was born in June of 1959 and again while she was still tiny when I quit work later when Lynnette was born in August of 1960. Of course in those days we only communicated by snail mail!
I remember I was even surprised by Darrel growing interested in watching it over a lunch hour break one quarter at Iowa State after that. Then we learned a classmate of his shared that passion, too, when his wife and I were talking about it and found out they both knew as much about the show and had their opinions about what went on, too. I still laugh to remember how Mel, Darrel's classmate who often had the same schedule in Industrial Education and a couple of little kids, too, while we all lived in married student housing, made fun of all four of us, calling the show, "As the Turd Whirls."

I watch it and that puppet scares me also. I think Parker is right too. I tape it every day and catch up on the weekends. They were supposed to let us know who killed Dusty yesterday.
