Okay here is the place to go to check for the update and patch for the new virus www.microsoft.com/isapi/CTRedir.asp?type=CT&source=WWW&sPage=1|Security_Updates||What%20You%20Need%20to%20Know%20About%20the%20Zotob.A%20Worm&tPage=http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/zotob.mspxWhat You Should Know About Zotob Published: August 14, 2005 | Updated: August 16, 2005 Zotob is a worm that targets Windows 2000–based computers and takes advantage of a security issue that was addressed by Microsoft Security Bulletin MS05-039. This worm and its variants install malicious software, and then search for other computers to infect. Important If you have installed the update released with Security Bulletin MS05-039, you are already protected from Zotob and its variants. If you are using any supported version of Windows other than Windows 2000, you are not at risk from Zotob and its variants. As part of our Software Security Incident Response Process, our investigation has determined that only a small number of customers have been affected, and Microsoft security professionals are working directly with them. We have seen no indication of widespread impact to the Internet. Customers who believe they have been attacked should contact their local FBI office or post their complaint on the Internet Fraud Complaint Center Web site. Customers outside of the United States should contact the national law enforcement agency in their country. This link will give you the download patch that you will need!!! www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS05-039.mspx

I posted this link at Robin's, but really can't find a place here in which to store important links. It is a free House Call which will scan your computer. I just finished scanning my whole system. It took a couple of hours, but you can still be online while it does its thing!!! I thoroughly trust Trend Micro!! housecall60.trendmicro.com/en/start_corp.asp?id=scan
